Options Explained...
Each barrier free shower, pan or bath system can be ordered with your choice of optional accessories. These optional accessories have been selected for their performance and have been tested with each shower pan and bath system. Choose from these options when configuring your order or select "not required" in the options list if ordering separately.
Drain
Our drain is a caulkless shower drain with a brass body and polished stainless steel screen. UPC certified. The compression gasket (provided) tightens around 2" schedule 40 pipe with inner nut and wrench.
Shower Curtain
Shower curtains are a three layer heavy duty viny, weighted with brass grommets and are designed to hang down within the water retainer or threshold adapter of your shower. The shower curtain rod is a 20 gauge stainless steel rod and is polished smooth to improve the gliding action of the curtain rings across the rod when being opened and closed.
Waterstopper Water Retainer
The Waterstopper is a "peel and stick" water retainer and is installed across the threshold of the shower pan. The Waterstopper is a collapsible water retainer and can be easily rolled over with a commode chair. Available in lengths from 4-10 feet and in grey or beige colors.
Threshold Adaptor
The Threshold Adaptor is an aluminum threshold cap that can be installed across the threshold of the shower pan. It serves as a water retainer and can be used in conjunction with a sliding shower door kit. Combined with the Waterstopper, the threshold adaptor provides incredible flexibility. Should a resident's needs change over time, the threshold adaptor can be removed allowing the resident to use a wheeled commode or shower chair for access to the shower. This "threshold flexibility" eliminates the need to renovate in years to come.
Flange Trim Kit
The walls of our bath and shower products are screwed onto studs and framing from the "nailing flange". Once installed, this nailing flange needs to be covered. The two most common ways to cover the nailing flange is by using the optional flange trim kit or ceramic tile. The trim kit is made from fiberglass and is custom made for each shower which minimizes on site cut and trim. Held in place by a mastic gum, the trim kit is then secured in place using a bead of silicone caulking. If you prefer your own installation of ceramic tile, we recommend a white beveled tile, it looks great along side our shower!

Swing Down Shower Seat
This swing down (or fold down) padded shower seat has a high density, foam core top that's covered with a UV inhibited, mildew resistant marine grade naugahyde. When properly installed, this fold down seat has a static load capacity of 500 lbs. The frame is type 304 stainless steel tubing and is available in steel or a durable powder coated white finish. Height adjustable and complies with all ADA requirements.
